| Minimo not proving popular as
a mobile browser.
Minimo [Mini Mozilla] uses the same engine as Mozilla and
Firefox.
Of test reviews we have read, Minimo seems one of the worst
behaved of all the browsers. This is based on:
- Huge Size - requires 11MB of storage space just to install
[more than the combined size of all the other Pocket PC
browsers]
- Slow Start and slow on loading pages
- Resource Hungry on Running - used up all the remaining
30 MB memory to run; meaning you can't run some applications.
- Memory Hungry - Minimo ran out of memory and hung several
times while loading pages
Overall - just too resource hungry to run on most mobile
devices.
